The Queens and Bees Difference

Pure, raw, and completely natural – the way honey is meant to be.

Pure, Raw, and Unfiltered

Pure, Raw, and Unfiltered

Minimally Filtered
Unlike commercial brands, we never fine-filter our honey. This preserves the traces of pollen, propolis, and wax-natural elements that carry significant health benefits and provide a richer, more authentic texture.

No Additives
100% pure honey with absolutely nothing added – no water, no sugar, no preservatives.

Bee-First Management
If needed, only natural treatments are used. This ensures our honey remains pure and uncontaminated.

Our Honey

Our Honey

Spring Honey

Spring
A light, delicate amber gathered from dandelions, hawthorn, and wild cherry. It is soft, floral, and subtly sweet.

Queens and Bees Summer Honey

Summer
A darker-coloured honey usually from nectars of lime, white clover, bramble, willow herb. It is sweeter than spring honey with floral and fruity notes.

Queens and Bees Heather Honey

Heather
Our “Scottish Manuka.” This dark, thick, jelly-like honey is world-renowned for its smoky, woody notes. Research has shown it matches-and sometimes exceeds-the antibacterial benefits of Manuka honey.

Spring Forest Honey

Spring Forest Honey
A deep, complex honey
harvested from wild trees and plants.

Summer Forest Honey

Honey with pollen
This honey has a rich, complex flavour with a slightly floral, earthly taste. It is a nutrient powerhouse containing proteins, amino acids, B-vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

What’s Wrong with Commercial Honey?

What’s Wrong with Commercial Honey?

Most supermarket honey undergoes extensive processing that strips away the very qualities that make honey valuable. Here’s what typically happens to mass-produced honey:

  • Heat Treatment: Heated to high temperatures to prevent crystallization, destroying beneficial enzymes and nutrients
  • Ultra-Filtration: Removes pollen and other beneficial particles, making it impossible to trace origin
  • Adulteration: Sometimes mixed with syrups or sugars to increase volume and reduce costs

Our Commitment to Pure Honey

Our Commitment to Pure Honey

At Queens and Bees, we take a radically different approach. Our honey goes from hive to jar with minimal intervention, preserving everything nature intended.

We extract our honey using traditional methods that respect both the bees and the final product. The honey is gently strained through a coarse mesh to remove any large particles, but we never filter out the beneficial pollen and propolis that make raw honey so special.

This means our honey may crystallize over time – this is completely natural and actually a sign of its purity. Simply place the jar in warm water to return it to liquid form.
