Currently, our honey is available exclusively through our retail partners. Find a Queens and Bees retailer near you.
Our honey is raw and unprocessed. Unlike mass-produced honey that is often heated to over 100 degrees Celcius to keep it liquid, we do not use high-heat treatments that kill beneficial enzymes. Many supermarket honeys are fine-filtered to look clear, which removes beneficial elements like pollen, wax, and propolis. We use a coarser mesh to ensure these remain in every jar.
We use natural treatments to manage bee health. It is only done after harvesting and not during the season to ensure the honey doesn’t get contaminated.
Crystallization is a natural process and a sign of raw, high-quality honey. While many people mistake this for “fake” or “sugary” honey, it simply depends on the type of nectar the bees collected.
We primarily offer Spring, Summer, Heather, and Forest honey. Because bees forage from many different flowers, we name our honey based on the season it was harvested rather than a single flower type.
No, raw honey is not suitable for babies or very young children. This is noted on our labels to prevent potential allergic reactions or other health risks.
